An innovative solution that will change how you use your camera. Letus is proud to offer the patent pending Raptor System. This is THE support rod system you need, no matter the camera you own.
Frustrated with trying to constantly tweak traditional rod support systems, we wanted to come up with a new approach that was simple yet effective. Based on personal experience and feedback from camera operators in many different fields, the Raptor system was born. Now you can attach the new Letus Raptor System and take advantage of a light-weight, quick release, easily adjusted rods support rig unlike anything else on the market. For the most compact and well thought out camera support system, no matter the camera you operate, look no further than the Letus Raptor. This pro mounting and support solution is CNC milled from high grade aluminum and stainless steel. We do not use any low quality cast products like many other manufacturers. We provide seriously robust gear for even the most demanding production environments that is backed by a lifetime warranty. The Letus Raptor system will change the way you mount accessories to your camera from matteboxes to 35mm adapters. The complete Raptor system is comprised of 3 components. The light weight camera plate with v-wedge, the v-plate mounting block with quick release, and the telescoping support rods. You can also add a "tail" in the back of the v-plate block for mounting 15mm accessories behind your camera such as shoulder mounts, batteries, monitors, etc.
The Components:

Raptor V-Plate Block
The Letus Raptor system's CNC milled V-plate mounting block. For professional, quick-release camera mounting on cameras of any size. This block is the foundation of our patent pending Raptor rod support system and is designed to work with our Light Weight Camera Plate. The block is milled from high grade aluminum and features stainless steel connection points for durability and strength. The V-Plate block is designed to mount to any standard tripod, crane, camera stabilization system. It allows you to quickly attach and remove a camera with a single lever locking which clamps on our standard V-plate. There is a stainless steel post in the back for a multi-point lock down which prevents the camera from twisting side to side. The Letus Raptor V-Plate mounting block is ported in the back to accept our standard 15mm male threaded support rods. The block can be purchased with 15mm stainless steel "tail rods" which you can use for mounting 15mm accessories behind your camera. A great feature for shoulder mounts, larger batteries, preview monitors, and more.
 Raptor Lightweight Camera Plate
The Raptor Light Camera plate gives any camera a professional grade mounting solution. This CNC machined, high grade aluminum, lightweight plate was designed to work with our Raptor V-Plate base but it can also be uses stand-alone and mounted to any standard tripod plate. The Light Camera Plate includes a removable stainless steel v-wedge for professional v-plate mounting. This gives you a fantastic mounting solution for cameras that do not have a v-plate option built in like the higher end ENG style camera. It also includes our stainless steel L-bracket with height adjustable 15mm rod clamps. This allows you to attach any 15mm industry standard support rods to the front of the camera plate.
Telescoping Support Rods
The telescoping support rods are perfect for matte boxes! No longer do you have to re-adjust your mattebox when changing lenses. Simply release the single, ratcheting thumb screw and slide your mattebox forward and backward for perfect positioning every time. The telescoping rods in stock configuration are 24cm in length collapsed and 33cm when fully extended. The front 9cm lengths are our standard female threading so any Letus rods V2 or Raptor extensions can be threaded in place of them. The rods are custom CNC milled from high grade stainless steel. They have absolutely no flex and unlike aluminum and carbon fiber rods, they will not easily scratch or nick. Stop fighting with your mattebox and "swing away" contraptions that are more of a hassle than a feature. Order the patent pending telescoping rods from Letus today for quick, one point, tool-less adjustments.
